Hello,

I am a student who is currently enrolled in community college, I want to transfer either to NC State, Clemson or Georgia Tech, college of engineering. (UNC Charlotte will be my backup)

My current status: Transcript has majority A, few Bs (including Calculus). GPA should be 3.5+

(My GPA would be a lot higher because I took one class and made a C, I do know that NC State, Georgia Tech, or Clemson does not accept this class, CHM 121) only UNC Charlotte will.

I have taken developmental classes because I did not study for accuplacer test. This goes same with my SAT scores.

I also did not do well in high school because I ran cross country, track, joined many clubs, part time job, and bad study habits.

I will be joining Pi Theta Kappa & Mu Alpha Theta soon and have acquired some volunteership hours along with work experience.

I am a little concerned because I recently spoke to one of the mechanical engineering advisors at NC State and they're suggesting me that I should get "STRONG A" in Calculus.

I did not make a strong a. My instructor is good but her tests are very challenging, I will have her for calculus 2.

My question is, how do I stand when it comes to being accepted in college of engineering for NC State, Georgia Tech, Clemson?

Thank you
