17 hours(so far, will have complete the necessary coursework by the end of Spring Semester)
GPA - 4.0
Coursework - Includes relatively hard classes like Calculus, Economics, English 2, US History. I got a 95+/100 in all my classes besides English. In English, I was the only person in the class that got an A.
Texas Resident
Essays - Should be good(will not say great, probably won't be terrible either)
Letters or Rec - Good
ECs - For first semester of college I pretty much spent my time working on school and a job, so no leadership type things here. I've heard that ECs don't mean much in transfer admissions.

For Liberal Arts, you're in unless you destroy yourself this coming spring semester. Keep at least a 3.5 and you are set.

For McCombs, it becomes much more difficult. For external transfers, you must meet certain course requirements. Be sure you have met these or you'll be automatically denied. You can find the list of the required coursework here.

With the 4.0 and required coursework, you've done all you can do. Still, only about 17% are accepted from the external transfer pool and the average gpa of those students is nearly a 3.9. If you don't get accepted, you can transfer internally after a year. The gpa needed is much lower (around a 3.6 I think) and the percentage accepted is much higher.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out. Feel free to ask more questions.
