Hi, i'm new to this site. I will be posting my questions under the Rutgers thread (since that's where i plan to go). I hope this is not a burden and you guys don't mind. Any help is appreciated.

When transferring to Rutgers with an AS degree in business, do you start out in SAS or business school campus? I'm confused. If you start out in SAS, why; and what do you major in SAS?

If you follow the new jersey state wide transfer agreement with your degree program at a cc, does this mean when you transfer to Rutgers, your general educational classes will count as their core-curriculum, and will be waived giving you junior status?

I go to mccc. Here's a list of certified general education classes (http://www.mccc.edu/pdf/general-ed_courses.pdf) Besides the business degree program that mandates certain classes to take, we're required to take 5 gen ed courses of our liking (http://www.mccc.edu/pdf/catalog/cat09-11_program-update_16-17.pdf). If i pick any from the certified gen ed list, everything will transfer, even if NJtransfer shows it as not-transferable, because, i will have an AS degree? Is NJtransfer really for people who plan on transferring without a degree?

-Thanks
