<p>Does anyone know if it makes it easier to transfer when you have already been admitted as a freshman from high school but turned the offer down due to scholarship offerred at another school? DS is freshman thinking of transferring to original first choice.</p>
<p>It’s not necessarily easier, but at least you know that as a fr, she was good enough to be accepted, so she’s in the ballpark academically. The main difference is that as a transfer, acceptance rates are often lower and the student also needs a good reason for wanting to transfer. </p>
<p>My D1 did the exact same thing your D did, and she was accepted as a transfer to several schools that she turned down as a fr.</p>
