I'm going to be a freshman at SUNY Oneonta in the fall, but I'm considering transferring to UGA. I lived in Georgia until 5th grade before moving to New York, and I miss it like crazy! I know you need 30 credits to even apply, so is this possible to transfer and start my sophomore year there without lots of ap credits? I only took 1 AP test, and that is 3 credits at UGA, but I still don't think I'll have enough even with winter classes. Would I be better off just transferring in the spring of my sophomore year or fall of junior year? I'd really rather not wait until that late. Also, how good are the chances of an OOS transfer being accepted? I plan on having a very good GPA and studying like crazy...I really want to go here!!

I will be a freshman entering ga southern this fall and i was wondering if transferring to UGA for 2nd semester is possible? I hear you need 18 credits? I’ve been hearing a lot of different things so I am have no clue.

You need 30 credits to transfer to UGA. You should be able to take 30 credits freshman year… 15/semester is about average.
