transferring

i'm at loyola college now- a freshman. first semester i got deans list. my act score was 29 in high school (brought down by that stupid science section). with a solid college GPA, will my high school GPA matter as much? do i have a chance to get in next fall as a transfer student?

I'm pretty sure colleges will put more stock in your college GPA than in your high school transcripts and SAT scores. The main purpose of those standardized tests is to give schools an indicator of how well you're likely to do in college--you've already proven yourself, so you should be fine.

To be honest I don't know how they will consider your GPA based on the school you go to now - they will still probably place a value on your high school GPA and your SATs because like I'm sure you know Wake Forest is defiantly Work Forest and even if you get a 4.0 in high school and great SATs you can still get Cs or worse at Wake
