Transfers NOT living in Transfer Center

Any transfer students here who WON'T be living in the Transfer Center next year?

i havent decided yet

If I can get transfer center, I'm definitely living there. If not, then I guess I won't If yall won't be living in transfer center, where will you be living?

Ya it'll be cool to live with other people in the same situation. I'm just a little worried about finding my niche after everyone has already been there a year... I'll be taking some classes with freshman, and the people in my grade will already know the campus and have done things that I havn't yet.

There are about 500 new transfers each year and 450 of them live on campus and the transfer center only has 204 spot. So some people won't be living in the transfer center it looks like.

I'm seriously considering HILC, but people at Cornell don't seem to view program houses very positively. Might just settle with normal dorms.

is rooming in the transfer center a first comes first serves business? or is it based on a lottery once all the housing apps are in?

And does anyone know how many people the new one will house? Will it be done by fall 2007?
