I have several questions...
1) Do professors ever let you out late?
2) Do the PE professors give you time to change after PE classes or do you have to do that after the class ends?
3) How long does it approximately take to walk from Appel Commons to the Baker lab?
4) How long does it approximately take to walk from Helen Newman Hall to Upson Hall?
5) How much does snow make things worse? Does it really slow you down or as long as you trudge through it, you can get to class quickly?
6) Does it really matter if you get to class 5 minutes late?

Sorry that the questions are so nit-picky. I know the general gist of my questions is will i have trouble getting from class to class on time, but i would really appreciate it if people could answer the questions separately (whatever you can answer). thanks so much.

Yes. It happens when they forget about time (rarely happen) or when they just need to finish the topic since it’s almost done.

Including climbing the stairs would probably around 10 mins max esp. since the footbridge is still closed.

You can catch the bus #30 at Risley and stop at Sage Hall. This would be a bit faster than walking. If you really have to walk (no bus or can’t wait for the bus) then it’s around 15 mins, but you need to walk fast. Measure how fast you need to walk once you get here and before school starts.

It’s slowing you down quite a bit since you wouldn’t want to slip esp for early morning classes (before they could clean the sidewalk). Bus in that case would get you there faster if you are traveling from the dorm (in North Campus) to Eng Quad, for example. Usually fall semester isn’t as bad as spring though :)

Yes. Professors tend to announce important stuff before they start lecturing. So, being there on-time is important. However, if you really have to miss the first 5 mins, make sure that you make friends in the 1st lecture and tell them your conditions. I’m sure they will let you know what the announcements are.
