<p>Hey guys, I was just wondering what kind of means of transportation does Virginia Tech provide? I am from New Jersey and that is about a 6-7 hour drive? Is there any way to come back home other than a drive? Any information will be much appreciated!</p>

<p>VT won't provide any way for you to get home. To my knowledge no colleges will. About a half hour to an hour away there's an airport though. I think there's a train station somewhere around here too.</p>
<p>I am from NJ too, and there is a bus that takes you up to Vienna and I had one parent pick me up there... it's about halfway. There's nothing besides flying that is a straight shot to NJ. However, there is a carpool group on facebook and a message board where you can find rides. I did that a couple times.</p>
