I have a couple Rip Skirt Hawaii wrap skirts that I like for warm-weather travel. They are versatile and can be dressy, casual, or a cover-up. Very light-weight and don’t wrinkle so they pack well.

For ripskirt lovers, I recommend looking at NuuMuu. Their GoBe dress is very comfortable and packs well. Wearing one as my Zoomwear while working from home.

I’m sure I mentioned it earlier in this thread too but when I hear you all talk about “easy to pack, easy to wash/dry” the traditional NuuMuu’s are perfect for this. You can dress them up or dress them down. Actually known to be an “exercise dress” - but just very versatile.

GoBe’s that @BunsenBurner linked to are a more typical dress length while NuuMuu’s or Ruu’s (have a super handy back pocket at the back waist!) are on the short side, usually worn with a legging, bike short, skinny jean, or whatever floats your boat!

But seriously, people take a small handful of these on a trip - especially an active trip - and nothing else! Here is a link to the Ruu (back pocket) which you can see in the photo can hold a phone or tennis balls or your passport and keys or a small wallet - or snacks!! Some people have dozens of these dresses - I have about 10 now.

I stumbled across Nuu-Muu at one point but had forgotten about them. Going to have to take a much closer look. I love the look of those dresses.

How does the sizing run?

I have a couple of Title Nine staples but would love something new and Nuu-Muu has so many more choices.

The prices went up recently. But they really do last a long time it seems - don’t wear out!

There is also a buy-sell-trade community. I have a few dresses that way - people collect and then don’t wear them much! Additionally they have some random special promotions.

Sounds like sizing has varied over the years. From what I gather sizing a few years back had a medium being more like a small, a large being more like a medium…that kind of thing. Some people also like to wear them more fitted, some people prefer a not loose but LOOSER fit. That’s me. I’m typically a 10 (sometimes 12) size person (don’t like things too fitted) and I can wear a medium or a large.

I bought a GoBe dress in M but should have gone with a S. 5’ 6”, typically wear US “S”/US 6. It hits at just below mid-knee for me, so would be appropriate as a wear to work dress (our boss frowns upon athlesure, so shorter dresses may not work). I’m looking at the black one and the blue one.

I have 3 or 4 of these dresses. Super easy care, no wrinkle, upf 50 and a decent price. Fold up thin for packing. Best thing is the side pockets which are deep enough for my large cell phone.

They are unlined but the you can’t see through the fabric. Really comfortable.

I wish the Nuu Muu dresses came in tall sizes.

I’ve gotten better but I could still pack less. One thing I struggle with is when I travel shoulder season the weather can vary from hot to pretty chilly or rain.
I love a fleece vest. I’ve had many brands and while I love Patagonia my last purchase was a Columbia which was pretty inexpensive. I think I bought it on Zappos.

I usually travel with 2 bags (one for evening and one for day) and 3 pairs of shoes.

“Evening”? When I travel, I’m inevitably going to visit my kids. So the only “evening” we’re doing is maybe to an ice cream parlor.

Hmm… for me that would mean helpful to have some chocolate colored clothing

Well, I just returned my joggers that are fleeced lined. I liked them pretty well, until they started pilling after less than 2 weeks of wear! I decided that pilling after so little use is a defect I can live without.

Anyone with a good suggestion of nice fleece-lined joggers that don’t pull in the 1st 2 weeks of use? Zippered pockets is a nice plus.

Which temperature range are you using it for? I have a pair of thick fleece lined leggings that will hold up in 30-55F and one medium fleece lined one that will be fine in high 40s-55F. I run cold.

I have fleece lined joggers and pants from athleta that have not pilled. But I do find that fleece will pill if the fabric rubs against each other no matter how much I’ve paid. Fleece lined on the inside but not on the outside wears better.

From someone who has a lot of outside winter clothing.

I have some from Eddie Bauer (thickest), Athleta (middle range) and Lulu Lemon (may not be fleece lined, but they are meant to be warmer than normal). The way they’re listed is least expensive on sale to most expensive.

ETA - these were all leggings, not joggers.

I have indestructible fleece-lined leggings from “Baleaf” (basically Chinese-made clothes on Amazon). Have washed and dried them a million times. Elastic isn’t worn out yet. Little zippers on ankles haven’t worn out yet. I run in them so wash with vinegar - not causing issues with the zippers or fabric yet, and they don’t smell funky like other dry fit exercise wear. Great zipper pocket (still works, no holes from keys). Very nice and warm (warmer than thick Lululemon and Nike, though I’ve never had fleece-lined from either brand). Can’t believe they are on year 4 or 5 at this point…

Lots of people love that brand!

@HImom mentioned joggers as opposed to leggings. Maybe she’d consider leggings too. I haven’t see fleece lined joggers myself!
