<p>Senior S is applying RD to several top New England LACs. He attends a high school on the trimester system. His Tri 2 grades will not be posted until February 27. Is this too late for colleges to consider them (he is thinking some of them will improve over Tri 1)? He will be calling each school to ask this question of the admissions office, but in the meantime, I thought I would ask here. Any experience with/thoughts on this?</p>
<p>Jan is usually fine, so I’d say that Mar is getting on the late side. It could vary by school, so I think his calling each is the prudent approach.</p>
