I'm getting my classes set for my senior year of HS soon (early admission at a CC) an I'm debating if I should take trig or not. It would only affect my AA so far as that stats in the spring would end up counting as an elective and that would mean one less class along the lines of International Relations or State/Local Government.

I've taken a lot of social science courses already so I'm hesitant of taking yet another with economics. Math and science are weaker than the rest of the subjects in my transcript, so I'm thinking that trig would be good for me. I've taken algebra I, geometry (kind of integrated into alg I and II), algebra II, and pre calculus. I was planning on taking stats in the spring and I likely still will. The only thing stopping me from taking trig is that pre calc was awful for me. I got an A, so I know it's doable, and I'm not horrible at math. I just really hate it and I'm wary of putting myself trough that again. However, I did come out of pre calc with a lot more knowledge obviously and I don't regret the class.

So, I ask: is it worth it to take trig my senior year? I might lose my sanity for 16 weeks but I'm confident that I could pull a B in the very least.

Thanks to all who answer!
