triple dorm?

can i get a triple room dorm in Santa Catalina (francisco torres) with two of my friends?

the housing application says you can volunteer to a triple room but what happens if we put each other's name for the 2 slots? do we get a triple for sure?

if there’s an option for that on the housing application then i guess you can. but i don’t think they have that though. i read somewhere before that they dont offer tripple rooms in residence halls that are higher than 3 stories.

i read somewhere before that they dont offer tripple rooms in residence halls that are higher than 3 stories.

that’s false as there are triples in san nic and in san mig which are 8 stories each.
however to answer the original question. i dont think they offer triples in FT although you can request to be “roommates” with 2 friends in one room and 1 friend in the next room connected with a restroom in between however that one friend will be rooming with a stranger.

oh, i guess they changed their policy then, since it said in the housing info pdf file or something last year that they didn’t have tripples in those halls because it would be chaotic if there was an emergency and stuff

They just don’t tend to put triples at the top floors for fire hazard reasons. If every needs to use the stairs, and all the triple rooms are on the very top, you’re screwed.
