I found out the dorms that I want to stay ran out of doubles and I don’t want to use a single room (I want to make friends). Is it bad or hard to share a triple?

Santa Cruz, Anacapa, and santa rosa
Those three dorms are all triples from what we were told on our visit. Our daughter liked the idea of triples (and so did our wallets) because it offers more interaction in the rooms. Keep in mind that each of these dorms have a tremendous amount of ‘common space’ that can be used to stretch out.
With the triples, you’re saving yourself $2,000 a year.
My son was in an Anacapa triple last year. Room space was tight, but other than that he like it.
