Hey guys, I am from Virginia and in my school some people think that getting a "qualified" ACT score equates into paying fees as in instate student rather than an oos. Soo, I tried looking this up online, but couldn't find anything. help would be greatly appreciated.

Heres the deal, every year Clemson gives out a certain number of scholarships to out of state students (you’ll see it termed on this website as “OOS waiver”) which means that if you get this scholarship, all you have to pay is in-state tuition. The minimum requirement to get the OOS waiver is to be in the top 10% of your class and to have an SAT score of at least 1350 (Critical Reading + Math) or an ACT score of 31. However, this is just a minimum requirement and you may actually need a slightly higher score to get a scholarship depending on how many students meet the criteria and how many scholarships are available.

Here’s where I found this: <a href=“Office of Student Financial Aid | Clemson University”>Office of Student Financial Aid | Clemson University;
