Anyone know how many students get this compared to others? Pretty nice thing, but curious how many are offered.

Wondering about the same thing for the Allen International Scholar.

I would like to know too. Anyone? I assume it is a smaller pool than Century Scholars, but I don’t know.

I think it isn’t many, so whoever gets it should feel pretty good about it and very fortunate!

there are a few who get the Trustee scholarship. All the same, it is very prestigious.

The Allen Intl. scholarship is awarded to either 2 or 4 UG’s per year. I think its two. Its insanely hard to get that one (it is full tuition…)

Does anyone know how the Trustee scholarship works with outside scholarships? For his freshman year, my son’s outside scholarships + Trustee + Century will exceed tuition, but will not exceed total COA. Will the outside scholarship amount be deducted from the internal scholarship amount? Or will the internal scholarships be reduced to so as to not exceed the tuition when coupled with the outside scholarships?

I got full tuition engineering and the century was used to help supplement room and board. So no, internal scholarships will not be reduced and all you’ll have to pay is the CoA that remains after scholarships are totaled.

Thanks, silentsailor. That’s good to know. About the Century scholarship-- can you sign up for the century scholarship course (under university courses in the catalog), do your own project (if you can find a mentor) and get course credit for your work?

I got a trustee scholarship. :3

EDIT: Congratulations to all those that got one.
