I'm trying to create a college list and it is so difficult because what I want is so specific. I want to major in biology then from there I want to go on to vet school. But I also want to major in music because I loveeeeee playing my violin and I would never give it up but my parents... you know the story. So I was considering a double major or maybe a minor in music. I need schools with a good music program but science as well. Know of any?
I'd prefer warmer weather. Size does not really matter nor does private or public. Im about upper middle class. My gpa by the end of this year should be from 3.9 -4.2. My classes are all IB except for orchestra.
The college does not need to
have a conservatory. I just want to play in a good orchestra but also learn about music.
Any suggestions? Thanks for reading

You need to find out how much you can afford, especially since you’re considering vet school. You might want to target schools where you’re likely to qualify for merit aid Look for honor programs at your in-state public schools and private schools where your SAT/ACT scores put you in the top 75% of the freshman scores. Then check for which schools don’t require you to major in music to play in the orchestra.

How about UNT (University of North Texas)? They have a fantastic music program and you could probably get great aid (OOS, I’m not so sure, but they’re VERY nice to smart IS kids).
