I sent both my SAT (very low, 2010), very low subject tests (660 physics, 690 bio) and ACT (33) to Tufts. Reading this I’m realizing I should’ve just sent ACT. Do you think sending SAT hurt my chances?
Also, are there any other future student- athletes in this thread? I’m planning on playing tennis at Tufts. FYI for non athletes, the process hasn’t been much different and there has been no guarantee for admission…still very stressful!!
@tennisp1ay3r No. They will only look at the ACT. Their computer program automatically selects the higher standardized test score, so don’t worry.
I have a friend who works at Tufts admissions (as an undergrad), and she says decisions will come out today at 3 pm EST. Good luck everyone!

I know at least last year they didn’t release an admissions post until after decisions were released.

I called and they said they aren’t saying whether or not they are coming out today. Why do they do that? You know they know. Sometimes I think colleges take themselves too seriously and love all this stress and energy they create. They are like jealous girlfriends. Students have to jump through every hoop. But the colleges play with them like a masochistic toddler and a roly poly. Can’t they just man up and say when the letters are coming out? Soooo unattractive.

Yeah I called too and they said they’re unsure whether or not it will come out today, but definitely by tomorrow at 5 PM EST.
i sent in an act score after my application was sent in. i did better in every section on this act, will tufts see this one or the one of my application?
