Tufts Interview Question

Hi, I recently applied to Tufts and asked for an interview in the supplement. I later received an email that said that I could check the status of my interview on TAMS. Does anyone know where I can find this option on TAMS? Does it only show up if I am given an interview?

Thanks

I think you only find out if you’re given an interview once your interviewer emails you but I’m not totally sure.

I was recently contacted for an interview. Underneath your application checklist you should see:

"Tufts Alumni Admissions Program

The chair of the Tufts Alumni Admissions committee in your area has been notified that you have applied. If you have not been contacted within four weeks, you should notify the chair listed below:"

However, if you don’t have this then you might not be completely out of luck. Your checklist might not automatically post the alumni committee information just yet. I suggest doing a little digging and seeing if you can try and personally get into contact with your area’s alumni program…if you’re really desperate for an interview opportunity. Good luck!

As movielover 2013 says, the TAMS app checklist page gives the name of the chairperson you should contact if you don’t get an interview call withing 4 weeks of acknowledgement.
My D. wrote to the chair, asking for help because she did not get the call in 4 weeks. The chairperson was super nice; she responded saying that she would do the interview herself.
During the interview she did say that in our area there’s a shortage of interviewers, and that those who submitted the app late in Dec. would not be called.
