Applied EA

@Frazzleddad18 congrats!! What state are you from?

Hi, I’ve been monitoring this thread but haven’t posted anything yet. I applied EA, submitted my app on 10/18 and the checklist was completed on 11/3. I know that I shouldn’t expect a response this quick, but I am a little worried because I got an email from Tulane thanking me for applying and asking if I wanted to change my application to ED2, stating that Tulane wanted to make sure that I "know all of [my] options."Did anyone else get this email? I could be overthinking the email, but I’m worried this is implying that I got deferred.

Did any of you who were accepted do a Zee Mee page? My daughter applied EA and planning on submitting this to help her application.

@babysweetpea ,my D did not

@randomman007 I got that email today, too. I’m not thinking too much of it. It’s probably just an email they send to early action applicants that completed the application after the ED deadline. I doubt that thy would make deferral indications this early in the process. I am not sure, but that is just my opinion of the email.

BTW my application was sent in on 10/31 and completed 11/4

My D also received the email about ED2. Her application was marked complete 10/17. 3.9 uw gpa, 1510 SAT. I sure hope it doesn’t mean she’ll be deferred. Tulane is a top choice for her, but she is not permitted to apply ED. I’m nervous now.

@randomman007 I have not received my EA decision and did receive the same email. I’m not worried. My application was complete on 10/8. This is likely an automated email to those who applied but have yet to receive their decision.

@randomman007, I got the EDII email too. I also thought that it meant that I was deferred. And the email is causing me a lot of stress because I had been questioning my decision not to apply for EDI.

Thank you for your response @nischra . It’s reassuring that other people got this email too, especially as you completed your app roughly around the time I did.
