I was admitted earlier for EA in October, but I wish everyone the best of luck in their college decisions. I understand that a lot of people were upset about the ED mistake and decisions, but please keep in mind that life does go on and I’m sure that everyone will still go to amazing schools. Moreover, other equally, if not more so, prestigious universities have also made mistakes like Tulane’s in the past, so it’s certainly not the first time that it has happened. All that you can really do at this point is move on (maybe hit a pillow or two) and see where life takes you. Just remember to keep at it and do your best to have a nice holiday.

No clue how or why I got deferred. Gpa 3.7, ACT 34, good essays, applied as a fricking dance major and their dance program is not even that good so I should have been a shoe in. pissed honestly

Deferred with a 33 ACT and 4.0 unweighted GPA. Not surprised because I applied at the end of October and never heard anything. This weekend has killed my desire to go there anyways.

Anyone know how many deferred students they wind up accepting?

Accepted and merit scholarship. 34 act 3.7 uw gpa

I still haven’t heard anything! Ahhh

deffered

Deferred. 3.9 UW gpa 29 ACT. My mom went there and I did the optional essay. Pretty pissed off not gonna lie.

Deferred EA
3.8 gpa, did optional essays, 4.12 weighted gpa, 1350/1960 sat scores

not sure why i didnt get in

Question though, now that i have to submit applciation again, how do I do that? Is all I have to do to send an email w/my December ACT score if it is good and then tell my counselor to send first semester grades when they come back (Jan. 3rd)??? I am overall very confused about what there is to do next, but I really am hoping to go to Tulane. :l

Do any of your guys have tips for all of us who have been deferred?
Tulane is my dream school. I have a 29 ACT and a 3.6 gpa and I have take 7 AP classes. I realize that they probably want to see an improved ACT score but is it too late to take another test? Please let me know what my next step should be
