Im looking to transfer to tulane for spring 2017 but I’m not 100% confident in my chances of being accepted. Does anyone know about the Tulane School of Continuing Studies? From what i understand many student enroll there and take a semester and do an interdivisional transfer to the school of your choice at Tulane. Basically an easier way of getting into tulane from within the school opposed from outside at another university.
This would be a good thing to discuss with the admissions department. I am not familiar with students applying from the School of Continuing Studies. @TulaneMaddie22 @TulaneBarry do you have any information from the Admissions Office perspective?
@johsc24 I would encourage you to definitely apply as a transfer student. It is a smaller pool and your chances are probably better than you think. The transfer admission counselor would look more closely at what you’ve done at your current college vs what you did in high school. Reach out to the transfer admission counselor (Erin Gordon) her email is egordon@tulane.edu and she would be happy to discuss the transfer process further with you.
I had a 3.63 gpa and about 60 credit hours. I was accepted for fall 2017 with a scholarship! Apply!
