Can you write fast? I just came across this and figured it's too late but in case there's some who can pump a short essay out here it is...

For many Americans, the Statue of Liberty represents limitless opportunities and a chance to make dreams come true. In that same spirit, Turkey Hill Dairy has created the Lady Liberty Essay Contest, which asks middle school and high school students a simple question:

What does liberty mean to you?

Answers to "What does liberty mean to you?" should be 500-1,000 words in length.

One middle school winner (grades 6-8) and one high school winner (grades 9-12) will each receive a $5,000 scholarship to help make his or her educational dreams come true.

GOOD LUCK!

Take Care,
Lisa
