do we have to submit them together in one large envelope? or do we just have our teachers and counselors mail them directly using small regular size envelopes?

separately mailed in, large envelopes.

my school mails them out separately

large envelopes?? what? where does it say that?

large envelopes for each counselor midyear and secondary school report, and one large envelope for each teacher writing each letter of rec?

uhh i just gave my teachers the standard, small white envelopes. is that okay?? :/

You have to provide the size envelopes that your high school requires. Perhaps your school wants large envelopes for the counselor who sends the hs transcript and other stuff. If the teacher recommendation form is one or two pages, then a regular business envelope (about 4" X9" ) is fine (unless the teacher requires something else). Cornell doesn't care (unless the instructions have changed in recent years). Basically, unless Cornell dictates sizes, you will need to comply with the high school requirements, so check with the people there.

My school is putting it all in a large envelope and sealing it, so there's nothing I can do about it. I'm just hoping that they get the packet done by tomorrow so I can have it mailed and postmarked by Wendsday.
