Do kids bring LCD/Plasma TVs? 32" 42"?

Thanks

The boys in the room next to S’s this past year had a 32" TV. They were very popular. I think 42" would be way too big, and I’m thinking of George Read, where the rooms are large.

S’s roommate brought an old 19" TV. IMO smaller is better, as they’re less tempted to spend all their time playing video games!

My DD did not have a TV in her room (never had one in her room at home either). But she’s got her laptop so she’s good with hulu. Not that I’m worried about her getting TV time. Definitely not a priority in my book.

My DS would like to bring a TV and his xbox- I of course would rather he did not play videogames all day! I guess roommates have to talk with each other to see who was bringing electronics - You wouldn’t want to end up with two 32" TV’s on move in day!

Yes - they tend to work it out on Facebook.

My D had a small TV for watching sporting events. I can’t imagine a giant TV in those rooms.

Yeah definitely, flat screen TV’s are a good idea. Just realize that you’ll have to use a lot of space for a bigger TV, but it’s not that much of an issue.

Do the dorm common areas have TVs?

Yes the dorm common areas have TVs. Except for the study lounges, which do not.
