Tweed to Yale

One very good source of price comparisons is the Kayak search engine.
<a href="http://www.kayak.com/flights%5B/url%5D">http://www.kayak.com/flights</a>

You can select New Haven Tweed and ask to show surrounding airports all in one search. That way you can evaluate multiple options at one time and see which works best for you.

how about white plains airport in new york?

its only about 40 minutes away from yale, but i dont know about how to get from that airport to yale...does anyone know?

There's no shuttle service or anything since it's not a major airport that people around here use a whole lot. You'd probably have to take a cab or use a private service.

I'll second Rough Winds no on Westchester. While it is convenient access to drive to for drop off/pickup, there is no scheduled limo service; all are private, schedule as you need services. There is a significant amount of high level business/corporate travel, and the companies pick up the private limo tab.

The only way it makes sense if a group of yalies booked a limo en masse either in or out.

There is bus service from Westchester that will get you to the Metro North rail line eventually.

I'd honestly avoid Westchester unless it was an option of last resort.

Which reminds me of something to note about Bradley...

It is primarily used by local residents and business travellers, so if you are landing there, you usually have your transport arranged in advance. This means that you will almost never find unscheduled taxis lined up outside willing to take you anywhere. It is very important to schedule your ground transport in advance when flying through there. A good piece of advice is to have the service arrive about 45 minutes after you land, giving you enough time to retrieve your luggage and also allow for some flexibility in case your flight is delayed.
