Two majors for one personal statement? Help!

<p>So I am in the process of applying to UC's and writing my personal statement. I would like to double major in Anthropology and Linguistics and for the applications I am declaring Linguistics as my major for each UC. </p>

<p>My question is, when writing the personal statement, should I mention both majors? And if so, how should I do it? "I intend to double major in..." or maybe "I am majoring in ___ with an interest in ___ " ?</p>

<p>Any advice would be much appreciated!</p>

<p>I got two different academic interests so I related each one with one of the essays.</p>

<p>If you can’t do that, then shoving both interests into the same essay would be a bad idea.So you should just focus on the one that you can write a better statement for.</p>
