Two topics: which one do you like better?

i wrote a draft on each topic, but which one do you like better?

How superheroes have influenced my life: I always imagine myself with superhuman abilities in sports, reading minds in class, etc. I question why I find such amazement in superheroes and its because I want to be extraordinary and act special. Superheroes serve as a bar that I can never reach, but can near with determination. Superheroes are metaphors rather than idols.

How the winter has made who I am. more serious topic, less humor. Story-like: waiting for it to snow, but it doesn't. Compare myself to snowflakes and reflect on the ends in my life, but realize there are never any ends, on beginnings. Compare ends in my life to the cycle snow takes when it melts.

which one do you like better? I'm a more funny guy so is a playful essay better?

tell me what you think, thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanks

are these for a college supplement? in my mind, both of the topics sound like they could be incredibly cheesy and overdone. the first one sounds pretty cliche. i think it depends entirely on how you write them. i’m sure you could make a stellar essay out of either one, but at the same time, you could tank it. but yeah i vote for number 2. good luck

I definitely say number 2, I think it gives a much better idea of how you think- which is what colleges want to know.
