<p>For FALL 2005 applicants.... the typical gpa/sat score that SDSU admitted in California is...</p>

<p>3.06 GPA with an SAT score of 1600/2400 .....</p>

<p>I'm not sure what you mean by "typical", but the average of the students who were admitted and then enrolled in Fall 2005 was a 3.49 gpa and SAT of 1075 out of 1600. The average of all those admitted would be higher, of course...</p>

<p>Please tell me if I have any chances to get in to SDSU!
I am out of state.. that's a problem!!
I have 3.512 cummulitive GPA.. when I calculate it my their standards I get 3.628... but my SAT score is really low.. it's 1580... I took it in October...I took one in Novermber too and I think I did better.. hopefully!
I visited SDSU this summer.. do u think that will help my admissions??</p>

<p>SDSU does not use the Writing part of the SAT. Assuming your combined Math + CR scores are 2/3 of that 1580 you should be accepted with a 3.6 gpa, even out of state. You are above the minimum cutoff for the last few years, and for out of state the cutoff is only a little higher than for in-state. Good luck!</p>

My combined score is 1010 .. :( Hopefully on novermber I got at least 1100-1200... I can only hope!!</p>

<p>I have not visited personally, but I here that the campus is beautiful. I wanna go there for a couple of reasons, I want to move to san diego after college and figure this will be the best way to create connections, because its such a beautiful city, and because it is by far everything i'm looking for in a college. What about you?</p>

Well, I want to live in San Diego, too. And I really want to transfer from San Diego State to University of Southern California later (My dream school!) for junior and senior year.

<p>i do not live in the city, i live just east of it on long island in a small town called port washington, i do go to the city every so often and i am sure that there is no place in the world like it. I applied to fordham as well which is in the bronx, but sdsu is still #1</p>

I am applying to Ohio State University and SDSU... that's it! I wander if I can get in to any of them. Is Fordham a good school? Selective?</p>

My November SATs dont count, so it's still gonna be 1010... plus I recalculated my cum by their standards, it's 3.566.. my EI is 3863.. ! :(
Do you think I can even hope on getting in?
Maybe somebody got in with similar standards out-of-state? Please, help!!</p>

<p>This guy in my brother's class (HS in-state): he got into Cornell, Northwestern, Swarthmore, and UC Berekeley (among other colleges/universities), but got rejected from San Diego State. I don't get that.</p>
