<p>My son is deciding between U Maryland & U Delaware undergrad business school.
Any advice?</p>
<p>Is he in-state for either school, and did he receive financial aid or merit scholarship money from either school? Cost could be an important consideration here.</p>
<p>All things equal, the environment can be the determining factor. My son was accepted to both, but UD was clearly his preference even before he knew the terms of acceptance. He liked the campus and the environment of UD much, much more. Surprised me, because both DH and I liked College Park more. He was also accepted to Dickinson and Gettysburg, and liked the atmosphere and the way Dickinson was laid out whereas we liked Gettysburg more, as did my younger son. So personal preference can play a big role.</p>
