Accepted 2/19, got the Prince Street Scholarship. 24k/year
i was also accepted 2/19 but haven’t gotten an email notification of merit or anything about financial aid. is this a bad sign?
Congratulations to all those who got the merit awards so far!
My D (accepted on feb 19) got 15k IB scholarship.
Hoping for more…
Was accepted 2/19 and just received FA award via email. Not as much as I’d hoped for but still generous.
Are decisions really supposed to come out today? I haven’t received any emails yet from Rochester, and their website I’m pretty sure says April 1st. Does anyone have any more information?
nothing thats disappointing. if the decisions really were supposed to come today, maybe there was a delay due to the NE storm?
anyone hear anything?
From what I read so far seems two dates so far 2/8 and 2/19, hoping maybe Monday will be another round.
Hi everyone! I’m an international student and I applied RD. I got my notification on 19th of February and was waitlisted. I’m not sure what are the chances. Isn’t it too soon to decide on the applications? I thought the decisions would be out in late-march. Is there anyone who was also waitlisted?
Hi! I’m also an international student who applied for RD. I haven’t heard from UR at all. I think you being waitlisted is better than not getting the decision at all. I think I didn’t get in. But I hope you get in. Good luck. Can you share your status?
I have phoned the admission office, and a senior student told me the decisions are supposed to come in late March. How could you tell some decisions are released nowadays?
@Elhabashy When a decision on your application has been made, you’ll get an email telling you to check your portal.
@MomOutWest I have been deferred from the ED to RD. It was on Dec 15, so I thought it was fixed.
Got my financial aid today
@physicsfuture when did you get accepted?
@oPhilippos 2/19
Anyone know when the next wave of decision will be?
For those who got Merit money / scholarships, did you file both FAFSA and CSS Profile? I read on their site the chance for merit aid only increases if both CSS/Fafsa is filed…it that true in reality did any of you file both?
I am a student accepted ED2 and received the Rochester promise scholarship for $25,000. I did not file any FAFSA/CSS profile and still received it. Merit aid doesn’t really have anything to do with the FAFSA form. The FAFSA has to do mainly with need based aid.
