Most colleges have published their common set datas already, so instead of just throwing out random guesses, I recommend actually using facts for these predictions. For instance, you can compare Yale's common set data that will be used for the US news rankings(e.g. admissions stats, freshman retention rate, graduation rate, etc.) to that of Princeton's. The same is true for virtually all colleges. Just go on their websites, and search for "common set data 2004-2005." The only thing that isn't listed that will be used for the rankings is peer assessment, and that rarely changes. Btw, almost all colleges have common set data out for this year but I couldn't find it on Harvard's site or a few others. Here's some links for you guys to see if you're interested. O yeah, they're pdf.

some people already did that, and posted it earlier

where? chara

I'm not sure, but it was using the old weightings, not the weightings in the newest edition thats set to come out

Argh!!! I'm an angry Vanderbilt student and Imma gonna lay down the law on ya'll Berkeley asses. law, ass; ass, law.

I don't know about Berkeley but I have a feeling that Vanderbilt's rank will go up one or two this year. Of course, we're only comparing apples and oranges.
