<p>Again the rankings speak for themselves. Most would consider these ranking more accurate than the Forbes rankings - I can only assume that marching ability is taken into account when ranking the service academies.</p>
<p>…and many others (I can’t speak for ‘most’ others) consider efforts to rank colleges a waste of time or more of an effort to sell newspapers/magazines. I think this topic is like beating a dead horse.</p>

<p>Time2 …you hit this nail. While the rankings offer some insightful stats from which inference can be drawn, the final “ranking” isn’t one of them. But, just as it’s intended to do, magazines and manuals get sold by the millions to folks looking for a magic solution that does not exist beyond a few printing presses.</p>
