UC - AP Test scores vs SAT Subject scores admission affection

Do they downgrade your admission for UCs if you get a 3 or below on the AP or 700 below on the subject test? Or do they just act as “extra credit”?

@UCmaximillian I don’t believe they take your ap scores into account at all, they just consider the difficulty of your course load (or amount of aps taken). I am not sure about the SAT II scores

AP scores are not used for admissions purposes only for college credit. SAT II tests if recommended could help you in the admissions process especially in the competitive majors. UCD for example does not have any recommendations for SAT II subject tests, but they state it could only help not hurt your application. Each UC may have a different policy to so you might have to check schools website.
