UC Application, Language Question

Hi,

I took Latin during 7th and 8th grade, but not for HS credit. However, when I enrolled in HS, I started taking 3rd year Latin, as per the teacher's OK.

Should I include Latin for 7th/8th grade coursework?

"7th/8th grade courses: Advanced courses taken in the 7th and 8th grade in math or a language other than English may count toward your subject requirement. To list them, choose "7th/8th" and the appropriate subject area from the dropdown menus below. "

Thanks,
Adam

I'd say yes. I think UC says to mention courses that you get high school credit for, but it'd be good to show that you started Latin III freshman year because you started two years prior to that.

Thanks! That's what I was thinking.. Because I didn't take Latin during Sopho-year (schedule conflict), or during 1st semester Junior year (I was a page, and the US House of Reps Page School does not offer Latin to its 60 students, lol). So, I want them to see that I'll have had 4.5 years of study.
