I took the ACT with writing last year and was content with my score. I was then announced as a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist which requires that I take the SAT, so I took it without writing. When applying to UC schools, I notice that they require that I send all scores, but they also require that I take them with writing. I can’t submit the form without providing my SAT essay scores, which I don’t have. Should I not report my SAT scores at all?
They only require all ACT scores or all SAT scores. You do not need to send both. There is no reason to report your SAT scores since you did not take the writing section and they will not be considered.
