So I’m stuck between UCLA and UCB. It’s been surreal and I didn’t think I’d be blessed enough to have this choice. I’m a Pre-Law Poli student and I’m digging around the threads for answers. Any initial thoughts? I’m leaning Cal.
guys i got waitlisted any suggestions on what i should write about. idk its not a 100% guaranteed admissions but i need to give it a shot. UCB is basically what motivated me throughout my cc years
@Ohm888 yeah, i was a little surprised ucla rejected me, but apparently, only 3000 of 22,000 applicants were accepted. plus, i was leaning towards cal anyways so it all worked out. how many classes are we allowed to take through haas? i heard it was only two. and i’m thinking of taking 10 over the summer with josh jackson. would you advise i just start in the fall? my hometown is a bart ride away, so i’d either commute or live on campus for summer session.
Accepted for Spring 2018
Honestly don’t understand why people think its such a big deal to start a semester later… Just save up some money and work for 3 months!! You still got accepted in to the best public university!!!

@Ohm888@IvyLeague2 I will appeal it. I don’t know if anything will come of it, but I will take a shot anyways. Just amazing how I can get into top 15 colleges (with money!) as a transfer but shut out at UCLA and Cal - best wishes for the incoming classes at both universities!
@caliguy925 Thanks!! I think that I’m going to end up choosing Cal but LA and SD sound super appealing too, especially for bio. Are you going to choose Cal??
