So I got rejected by UCSD and I appealed the rejection by saying “if I can get into UC Berkeley, I can get into here too”. They overturned the decision and accepted me. So thanks Cal! Your prestige over the neighboring UC’s and their utter jealousy allowed me to overturn a rejection! Lol!
@itsromeosuckaa do you even want to go to UCSD? B/c appealing, getting accepted, then not SIR’ing to that school takes away someone else’s chance at getting into that school…
I got an email from Bridges with transportation information!! But no email saying I was accepted/formal invite, nor did they tell me what to prepare for or pack :o
Wasn’t accepted to bridges and just got a notification. If you got transportation info, I assume you’re going, have fun!

@LynAmmo Thank you so much! I’m sorry if that posted sounded a bit negative toward UCLA; they’re both basically equally good schools in my book. I’m usually not the person to let my emotions get the better of me, but that UCLA rejection hurt me really badly.

@FaithGraceUC That means so much to me; I’ve grown to respect and care for so many of you guys in these threads. That rejection hurt, but I understand that UCLA has a philosophy that places heavy emphasis on prereqs (and I was missing one, and taking my last English class during the final spring semester).
I’ll be studying real analysis, abstract algebra and logic in a state of bliss bordering on euphoria these next few months, so all’s well that ends well ;D

@doihaveashot2016 Dude, talk to the professors of the classes you dropped and ask them to give you an add slip. In my foolish despair, I had dropped two courses as well but both my professors added me back after I explained the situation. There’s always a way, good luck man!
@zellet132 Try to add the other course back; I’ve found professors are really forgiving with granting add slips late into the semester for situations like this. It’s not the time to panic yet; the error’s so insignificant that I can’t personally see how it would affect your admission status. Try your best to contact them and to add the previous course back.
