@Ciceroo I was not able to find those either, my best guess is that they have not yet been made available. Has anybody else been able to find them?
I’m not seeing the TAU on the Berkeley portal either.
Chance me?

Personal insight Qs: I think they’re good LOL
For those of you who are CS and applied for both Cal and UCLA,did you apply for EECS, because the requirements for EECS are more similar to UCLAs CS required courses?
I have a question regarding the use of the additional comments box on the TAU. For my major, assist.org suddenly added 3 new prerequisite equivalents last fall for my major (English) at my CC, 2 of which I haven’t completed and probably won’t be able to complete. Should I use the additional comments box to explain this situation, or just leave it as is? Will the UCs check assist.org themselves when viewing my application and figure it out themselves? Thank you in advance for any replies or advice!!
I would mention it.
Has anyone already received the email to input fall grades on MAP?
I was just coming to ask that, LandUseLaw. I have not, and I was wondering why there was no Application Checklist item for a TAU like there was last year.
Chance me?

@Ciceroo I’m not seeing the TAU on their portal as well. I’ve sent them an email inquiring this issue just incase.
@ssnewman I called Berkeley admissions this morning and one of the admissions officer told me they will be sending an email later this week to complete the forms. They specifically stated, “It’s on their end, not ours!” Hope this alleviates any concerns you had.
Looking to transfer Fall 17
Major: Philosophy
UC GPA: 3.7
Major GPA: 4.0(If that means just philosophy classes then yeah all A’s)
IGETC: Finished by end of spring
Major Prep: Done in Spring
EC’s:
-Lots of volunteer hours(2 hours a week for 52 weeks if that is considered a lot)
-Full time deans honor roll
-Tennis training(basically helping kids prep for tournaments in my off time. only put 25 hours)
My essay was eh, but one or two may have been sympathetic and heartwarming I think. But overall not spectacular working in the coal mines with a peg leg and black lung levels of tragedy, suffering, and achievement.
But the biggest thing I’m worried about is I got a D in my intermediate algebra for the fall semester, it isn’t uc transferable tho but its on my record because i was told to put it. However Im in stats and I’m gonna have that finished by the end of winter with I hope atleast an B maybe an A but they won’t see it anyways all they will know its in progress right now. Anyways I’m wondering what my chances are because I really think Im not going to get in. I hope I do, but your opinions would mean a lot. And I will update as I get my admissions.
Do you guys know where to go on the Berkeley application portal to submit the transfer academic update?
@badmintongirl
Yeah go to the ucapplication page and it should show up. I just did mine today.
Because I waited last minute to do my application… (Winter Break) I left out an extra curricular activity of mine. It was something I did for two hours a week for a quarter, not extremely important but it fit in with other ec’s I had and would have been my fifth ec slot on the app. Is there any way to add it or am I too late?
Not too worried either way, don’t think omitting it will have a huge affect on my app but would like to have it on there if I can.
@kneesbees You have to have at least 60 transferrable units to transfer. Your stats are great, but that could be an issue. Additionally, you should call to ask about the previous school you attended. They might award credit for your courses even though the CC system didn’t. Also, it might place you at a different standing. If you have upper division courses and over 60 semester units total, it might be an issue. Just call! I am sure it will be fine
Does anyone know how to submit the UCB specific academic update? I can’t find the link in the MAP portal…
@lexluther96 I also do not have a link in the MAP portal for the academic update, I emailed Berkeley so I will update if I hear back from them.
By accident, I found this link, which answers an earlier question that was confusing: capped, high demand, whatever you want to call it, are all same:

@smrider29 Thanks! Have they gotten back to you? I might try calling…
