Has anyone else been placed on the “highly interested” list within the waitlist? I think the list is now closed but does anyone know the effect that this list has on waitlist admission decisions? Like are they only pulling people off that list? or is that just one factor that they are taking into account

It’s past 1 and the website is still down… Berkeley is sure failing at website maintenance for being #1 in CS…

I am so sorry in-state kids… But does anyone mind calling up UCB again asking wtf is happening?
At this point, it’s just getting frustrating. I just want to hear something besides “we will notify you by June 1”. I mean, how do they expect us to even be excited for the school we’ve SIR’ed to if they’re going to hold up the news till last minute?

I have committed to UIUC and I like the school. But it is so hard to like it once and still hope to get into a more reputed, UCB!

@materactivo same here! I’ve SIR’ed to UCSD, and I like it, but I just can’t put all my focus into it without getting a proper reply from UCB.

@masteractivo O: I committed to UIUC for engineering too. But i get what you mean about UCB. It was my dream school so it’s a bummer that it looks hopeless of getting in. But if we don’t, we’ll maybe see each other there, yeah? At least UIUC has a great engineering program. And it’s beautiful.

as desperate as it might sound, i’m an international and Cal is my only chance of attending a school in the US 
so i’m still waiting on cal waitlist decisions.
is there anyone living in the US that has checked with Cal if there will be any more waves? or nah.
