Can anyone tell me why aren’t there any fall admits?
Do you receive an email or do you have it just keep checking on the portal?
Hey guys, can someone call admission and ask them if they will admit any EECS students from the waitlist?
Cause it seems as though all the eecs spots are full from people admitted on the 24th of march and it’s done for all of us waitlisted.
And can someone ask when the next wave for Engineering students is? Also, are students accepted off the waitlist by college or by major?

Hmm, everybody is waiting for the EECS admits to be out. …or it could be that there are no waitlist admissions to EECS department this year as the target # of admits have SIR’ed. Is that a possibility? That would be a bummer…!!
I think I am! Also does anyone know when we need to reply if admitted off the waitlist? Thanks!!

I got accepted yesterday for the College of Environmental Design for a major in architecture. It looked like a regular acceptance letter and did not mention anything about starting in January or the global thing. Can I assume I am able to start in fall? Also, does anyone know how hard it can be to switch from this college to Letters and Sciences because I think I want to try changing to Haas. Any insight helps!
Finally I was able to get an admission officer.
I told my daughter is waitlisted for EECS and no update till now,any chances? She said if she has not received any notification till now means she don’t have a space now ,but it can open up till June 1st …And I asked again does that mean EECS is already full -->Then she said probably yes.
@seemasam it looks like the admission officer isn’t too sure about what’s happening with eecs (using ‘probably’ and mentioning the phrase ‘if she hasnt received any notification till now’ even though she should know that no eecs offers have been made yet)
I’m not questioning you or the officer, but all I’m saying is that if this is the case (uncertainty) it could be that the EECS department hasn’t decided yet who to chose between all the waitlisted students for the very few remaining places and I hope so.
@Rashmeasure I talked to some people who got in as regular admits and theirs didn’t say anything about major either so I’m assuming we’ll be alright
That sucks about eecs. It seems that each admissions officer has different opinions so maybe someone else could call?
Can you guys call and ask if we can expect another wave? And for international students?
Or chances are going to be very slim, and very few will get off randomly like last year?

@Hannah_tt I find the portal extremely confusing with no instructions to be had. If you dig, you’ll read somewhere that your housing deadline is the same as your SIR deadline. However, as a FPF SF student I’m not sure you’re guaranteed housing. 
I posted on here when i got waitlisted and now Im posting to say I got admitted! unfortunately my parents have decided that out of state tuition at Berkeley is not worth it compared to full ride at in-state UF. I agree, but really wish I could go to Berkeley. Already canceled the offer to let those in who CAN actually go. Good Luck.
