I’ve been admitted into UC Berkeley college of LandS for fall 2016, but I have recently discovered a problem. My contract to be admitted says I must complete IGETC by the end of spring 2016. I will be 3 courses short of 100% IGETC but have registered for the 3 classes for summer already to satisfy IGETC. The second option to get in, is completion of the essential skills requirement, once again I am one foreign language requirement away from completion of the essential skills. (mandarin 3). Im lost and hope I don’t end up rescinded, as I have worked very hard. Does anyone have insight on a similar situation and the outcome? What i might expect? Thank you for any feedback.
What does UCB’s admission say about your situation? There are the only ones that can tell you your status.
They say no coursework needed to satisfy College of letters and science can be done in the summer, but every case is treated on a case by case basis.
