All you guys have 4.0s I’m here with a 3.5 lmaoooo. I have good reasoning though I took classes when I was 13 and they count towards my GPA unfortunately. Also have been working 60+ hour weeks since 16(Im 18 now) after my dad started suffering from major health issues. I have great essays and ECs ex/ creating software to take advantage of Instagram algorithm to gain hundreds of thousands of followers. Using scripts built from python and selenium. Last 1.5 years I have maintained straight A’s though so definitely an upward trend.

@Pepsi1022 @tyler25419 I hope they realize that in 10th grade I had a 1500/1520 SAT and 3 Ap scores of all 5’s. If I had the time of a student who didn’t have to help my family out with paying bills among a lot of other responsibilities I know for sure my GPA would reflect that. I have actually tutored several students locally who ended up at CAL. I know GPA isn’t everything but with transfers IK its the biggest factor for schools.

EC’s; was a tutor, president of a club, member of honors society, VP of mock trial, PR of another club, student note taker (got to help students with disabilities) + other clubs with other small positons/memberships + decent amount of volunteering.
-Hooks; moved here alone from abroad to escape abusive household and arranged marriage in order to pursue education that I wasn’t “meant to get.” due to my gender.
-Weaknesses- not enough volunteering?? no job…im not sure. we’ll see.

I feel like all the UC’s already have their results set and stone, they should just release them all on the same day
