If it is not a major required course, you will probably be okay. You should contact an admissions officer through your portal though to let them know.

Got accepted with a 3.5 and my major was political science. Couldn’t stop crying when I got in. I thought I had no chance compared to everyone with a 3.8+ gpa. I did a lot of ECs I’m thinking that’s what made up for it. Regardless for future students just give it your all clearly GPA doesn’t define you getting in or not to Cal
