So I received Foothill as my housing assignment and requested a transfer to the units because I heard Foothill was less social. After going to orientation and meeting people, I feel like I’m a different kind of social than the people in the units. I’m not really interested in going to parties or drinking, I just want to make some close friendships. I also thought the units would be best because they’re closer to restaurants and the gym. Foothill is starting to appeal to me because it’s a quieter dorm, but I’m still torn between the two. I’m a English/History major, and I don’t mind engineers but I would like to meet some other people with similar majors. I can choose between a Foothill double suite or a Unit 1 double, and I honestly have no idea what to do anymore??
Choose Unit 1. Most people who really wanted a social life and lived at foothill really disliked it, I lived in unit 3 and LOVED it and made all of my best friends there. Some foothill people would come here to have a social life, but would always have to commute.
