I'm going towards a single in Foothill, because I feel like Unit 1 and Unit 3 are both filled with freshmen (please correct me if I'm wrong). I'd like to do a double in the International House, but I'd have to look at my financial aid since that is considered "off-campus housing." Anyone have any experience with Unit 1, 3, Foothill, or IHouse? Any information would be great. Thank you!

Unit 1 - Second best housing compared to unit 3, given the proximity to campus and literally everything else…
Unit 3 - unit 1 with better cafeteria
Foothill - Away from civilization! Close to engineering side of campus
IHouse - Heard it’s awesome, but never been there personally

Thank you for the input!! Is Foothill really that far away? Also, where do the freshmen usually stay? I’d like to be around more transfer/upper division students. I’ll definitely look into Unit 3 more. One more quick question: is it hard to make friends if one were to live in a single? I’d like my own space, but if that means having a harder time meeting new people, then I’m not so sure…
