I'm a transfer student who applied to UC Berkeley and they recently asked me to send them my unofficial community college transcripts. What should I make of this? Good, bad, neutral?

Thanks!

To really put it like “Good”, “neutral”, or “bad” is hard.
The point being if they require supplemental information, their decision on you has not come to a conclusion yet, which means you can get accepted or rejected based on the supplemental thing you sent them.

Well, I guess it’s a postive sign, at the least you can still improve your chance, whereas people who don’t get this, they are either in or out.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I would agree with you if this was truly supplemental information, but it’s actually just a more formal reiteration of the information already available on my application and transfer update. So, it seems as if they just want to verify the information already presented to them. Seems positive then?
