Has anyone thought that it’s possible that if you just have a bconnected or calcentral account, you’re part of these groups?
Has anyone looked for names (maybe your friends??) in the groups of students that 1) are not currently at cal and 2) have not made a summer calnet ID or a bconnected account and still found your friends?
@doglover95 Yes, I tried to look up my friend but I could not find her because she did not create a calnet ID. However, she is an extremely competitive applicant and I am pretty confident that she will be admitted. Therefore, I do not think those groups mean anything.
@doglover95 I just looked up a friend who graduated from Cal a few years back, he does not show up in the search like those who are currently enrolled
@beontheroad021 did you make sure to look up her name under “all student types” or simply under “edu: Berkeley: official: students”?
Graduated students won’t be on there from what I heard.

Are any one of you guys UC-to-UC (intercampus) transfers? I’m curious if UC-to-UC applicants also got the $250 SIR payment show up under My Finances on CalCentral.
I graduated last December but I’m not on there.
So I am curious if you’re part of the groups simply because you made a bconnected account or because you were admitted.
When I search for my current friends at cal, they are also part of those groups.
@s014131 im not a UC-UC transfer but those who are could have the SIR payment too, because you still have to pay that fee if youre accepted, regardless of whether you came from a UC, CC, CSU, out of state, etc.
