@flaminhaute The question is what am I going to do for a year? Besides working I have more than enough credits to transfer. I’m debating between taking another year and applying or just taking up either Davis or UCSB when Berkeley reject me tomorrow.

@hailey5799 I got into Davis too. It’s a beautiful campus and a good school. I would go! I am if UCB says no.

Oh wait, the SIR is still there. Tours have gone away. According to my apple watch my heart rate increased to 90 within the time span of me thinking it disappeared. I know the SIR is prob just a tech mistake but I’m so nervous that any changes to my account have me on edge.
Yo, we can be failures together! Jk. Don’t take this stuff personally. These are tough schools to get into. You applied and tried your best and that’s all you can ask for. I’m sure you’ll kick butt wherever you end up going to continue your education. If it makes you feel better, I didn’t get into SD or LA either.
I opted in for the waitlist anyway, waiting on Berkeley, almost terrified for decisions with a rejection and waitlist unde my belt. Fingers crossed.

Being rejected = failure. How easy it is for people to lose confidence nowadays. Whoever invented college admission is a jerk.

I just tried applying for housing from MAP and it allowed me to log in for summer housing… dont know what to make of it
@hailey5799 Between you and me, I think the differences between the UCs are a little overblown. Yes UCB is great, but UCD is also great! You can do what you want but it has nothing to do with you.
If you were a soc major I’d say decline UCD and stay another year cuz I’m waitlisted…but since you’re not UCD is lucky to have you!

I thought about going another year and then applying again but my mom (who is an immigrant get top tier sort of mom) told me why that it was all overrated and wherever I went was fine. Understandably I was shocked.
