UC Berkeley Transfer Thread 2018

Man, can’t step away from this thread for a couple hours without coming back to 80 notifications. What I miss?

@GoldenState1 UCSD came out.

@manshiwang I made a CalCentral by registering for summer session

Does everyone have groups they’re a part of through CalNet ID manager?

For those with memberships to any groups, in the CalGroups page where your name is a link under “Recent Activity,” if you click your name does it show you’re:

Current Campus Community: Indirect
All Student Types: Indirect
Students-Grad-Undergrad-Concurrent: Direct
Undergraduate students: Direct

@hailey5799 I heard, my coworker got waitlisted at SD and rejected from Davis, LA, SB. Then he told me one of our other co workers gf got in to SD with a 2.9 GPA as a neuroscience major… wild

For those of you who are going on to graduate school. Trust me, college does not matter as much as you think. Especially when you got admitted by one of UCs. We are lucky enough

@dondell truth, my Econ professor told our class this, going to any UC looks better than most CSU’s

the 3:30 or 5 pm release date is in PDT right?

Yes PDT

I am so nervous that I feel sick

@transfers2010 I’m with you on feeling sick. I haven’t slept for 2 weeks having nightmares of tomorrow.

Can anyone be able to use their email address to rest password?

Hey guys, I’m just gonna go ahead and jump into this thread lol

Was there any correlation with the addresses on MAP and admittance? I had 4 yesterday and as of right now, I am back to two. Am i rejected?

Thanks @judyjacks

It was debunked by UCB itself.

i got a fee waiver so my sir deposit to ucla was waived, and the sir deposit doesn’t show up on calcentral for me so idk if im rejected or due to the fee waiver

Hey guys, how yo log in calcentral? I am so confused

@gapyearitis yeah I have that in my CalGroups.

Anybody else?

I tried looking through the thread but I haven’t been able to see what everyone is talking about. So, is there some sort of tell of whether or not you got in by looking at your waivers?
